European Society of Historical Demography

This website is maintained by the European Society of Historical Demography (hereafter the Society). The Society is registered in the Registry of Associations of the Spanish Ministry of the Interior under number 623573. Its fiscal code is G10520229. The Society is based at CCHS-CSIC, calle Albasanz 26, Madrid 28037, Spain.

Data protection:

All the personal data collected during the registration for events organized by the Society are managed in accordance with the EU RGDP. They will never be transferred to a third party and will be used only for internal organizational purposes. You can request correction of your data at any time from secretary@eshd.eu. We do not collect cookies.

Registration and payment:

Registration and full payment of fees will be compulsory for attending any of the events organized by the Society. Registration of a participant entails acceptance of the cancellation conditions.

All payments are exempt from VAT as the European Society of Historical Demography it is a non-profit organisation of a social nature. All activities are specific to the Society and in express fulfilment of its aims.

Final invoice:

if you need a final invoice, send to secretary@eshd.eu all the information your institution wants to see on this document (Like attendee’s name, address, VAT number etc.) at least one week before the start of the event.

Cancellation policy:

Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified by e-mail to the Society secretariat: secretary@eshd.eu and the followings conditions will apply:

• No refund will be given unless the event is cancelled by the Society.

• In the event of cancellation by participants, no refund will be given.
• Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.
